Dr. Donato is a full-time Gerson Therapy consultant. He is a licensed Chiropractic Physician in Oregon and California, and a Certified Gerson Practitioner. By default due to majority of cases seen, his work emphasis is on cancer and autoimmune conditions.
Dr. Donato is also a licensed doctor of physical therapy in Oregon. He teaches classes in natural health, nutrition, diet, and lifestyle changes in the community. He serves clients throughout the United States and internationally.
He completed his undergraduate degree at Union College in Lincoln, NE with a BS degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (Medical Technology) in 1987. He has 5 years of clinical hospital laboratory experience in Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry, and Blood Bank. He also completed his BS degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University School of Allied Health Professions in 1990. He then went on to complete his orthopedic manual therapy residency (MOMT) in 1995 at the Ola Grimsby Institute in San Diego, CA. He was Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) from 1997-2007. He continued his postgraduate studies in primary care and spinal manipulation by studying chiropractic. He completed the Doctor of Chiropractic degree and was at the top 15 percent of his class at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2001. He also completed his post-professional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE in 2009.

Dr. Donato began his Module 1 training in May 2011 at the Gerson Institute in San Diego, CA. He also went on the Gerson Clinic Tour in Tijuana, Mexico following the program.

He is currently continuing his studies in Functional Diagnostic Medicine through an intensive program.
Dr. Donato’s continuing education emphasis is on natural health and healing, wellness, functional diagnostics, intervention and management and reversal of chronic degenerative diseases using nutritional, dietary, metabolic and lifestyle approaches.
